I like blogger - the site is nice and easy to use, well thought of and very stable. However, the thought of being able to post images from my mobile phone has really intreagued me. To that end I've set up an account at MOBLOG UK so that even if I'm posting text over here....I can be posting piccies over there!

No mobile blogging from the UK?
It can't be true. This excellent website doesn't seem to support mobile blogging in the UK. Only certain carriers (US ones) are set up to provide this service. Damn! I wish I hadn't started looking at what the possibilities were. I thought that text based blogging from a computer or phone which supports e-mail was going to be the best I could do. Now I WANT TO DO MOBILE PICTURE BLOGGING TOO. It's like seeing the cake through the window, but knowing you can't get at it! Obviously further investigation is required....
- Are there any UK based blog sites which I can blog from?
- Is there a 3rd party website that I can send my texts/pictures to who will then update to blogger for me?

Test post from Gmail
Ok so on the blogger settings page there was an email address which could be set up to allow you to publish to the blog, by sending your post to the address, thereby removing the need to have a PC and a browser (if you have something like a blackberry or other device for sending emails). I'm writing this from gmail just to see what it looks like when it gets there....here's hoping.
